Fun restaurants in chicago for birthdays

One of the most frequently asked questions by people in Chicago is , “Where should I have my birthday dinner in Chicago?🤔” For example, let’s say you’re looking for something less formal and “fun”😁 where you can reserve a table for 10 to 6 people. Believe it or not, restaurants like this exist in Chicago.

Whether your ideas for fun include the possibility of dancing at the table😂 (ok, we can’t really help with that😢), how to come and go in a relaxed way, or anything in between. We have an idea if it’s included..just celebrate getting older once a year.

Amazing atmosphere!!Our server Omar was super attentive and very knowledgeable on their menu. Food was great … drinks were on point. I had mango margaritas 🍹  and appetizers… the interior looks very appealing with a carnival theme .. on certain days they have performances with zamba dancers and aerial fabric performers. I definitely recommend.. dress to impress ! Or not either way it’s a great spot to go to for drinks and or food

I had a great experience dining at a carnival.  The atmosphere was festive, and didn’t get me started on the dancing… so fun.  The food was above average, and the mixed drinks were amazing.  I would definitely think of this place as my go-to place for celebrations and party’s.  Eating here will get you in a festive mood quickly, but if quiet and romantic is on your mind, think elsewhere.  Definitely coming back.

Absolutely a great place!!! Have been to the Safe House in Milwaukee many times and this one is amazing!!! We had so much fun and the kids totally loved it. The food was great, the drinks were great, the servers were great, all of it! Of course, our missions were totally secret, so not giving anything away, go find out for yourself!

Absolutely wonderful atmosphere of everybody played their part so wonderfully!! My wife and I had an absolute blast. I wish I knew the gentleman’s name who greeted us behind the red door, he was a younger Hispanic gentleman with glasses. He did an absolutely phenomenal job with the introduction. Great guy, he puts a lot of time and energy into what he does. The whole staff was absolutely amazing, everyone did their best, the food was great. I ordered the mission impossible burger, the mix of ingredients was perfect! Last but not least our host “Agent Stitch” or Jacob was absolutely wonderful and very patient with us. He’s definitely a good worker to keep around and he takes pride in what he does. Thank you to the owners for the wonderful experience, we will definitely be back!

What a great buzzing atmosphere. The place is deceiving up front, the restaurant is huge. The service and attentiveness of the staff is first rate. The Sangria is excellent and has many flavor choices. The Tapas are well served and fresh. The food is fun and tasty. Did not try Paella but it is a popular dish. Reservations are a must, the place was packed even with a late afternoon reservation.

One of the best tapas places I’ve ever tried.   The service was fantastic. The food was excellent. I couldn’t  take pictures of all our plates since every time a new plate came we devoured  it. The food was so good. Highly recommend the bacon wrapped dates and Spanish octopus!   come hungry.

Tables were tiny and space felt tight. Service was good – we had a trainee as our server so leaving room for some grace there.

Great for a date – any larger parties and you’re fighting for elbow room.

Very interesting layout of the restaurant. It’s definitely bigger than one would expect. They have outdoor, indoor, upstairs and balcony seating.

Pretty busy place – be sure to make reservations!

The most worth it restaurant I’ve been to is far in the river north. Delicious and filling Italian food without breaking the bank. Flavors were well balanced in every dish. Recommending it as a stop for when my family visits.

Despite a little bit of a wait, our waitress was awesome and the service was prompt.

It’s a very busy restaurant, so expect bustling and noise.

“Located in the Fulton Market District, Punch Bowl Social Chicago is in a huge venue, which can still barely contain the fun. This 30,000-square-foot meatpacking factory turned grown-up playground is the place to perfect your game. Grab a bite of culinary nirvana, sip on some craft cocktails or show off your shuffleboard, marbles, ping pong, bocce, virtual reality, or bowling skills. Tip- lack of skills is easily made up for with a ton of unwarranted confidence. Boom. #HeresToGoingOutRight”

Really nice spot to hangout with friends or take someone on a date. Good food, vibes, and service. Properly plan because it is hard to get a table, and you would have to wait up to an hour for the bowling alley. While you wait you can grab drinks and something to eat, have a conversation before you bowl.

Really cool vintage arcade vibes and environment. I would come here for the looks alone. Punch bowl was decent and great for groups. The shrimp polenta was also delicious. Server was polite and friendly to boot.
